What a wonderful family. So GREAT to get reacquainted with friends and making new friends. Its just a wonderful and comfortable feeling to have friends like you. The memories of past experiences are fantastic, some that have been completely forgotten. As Bob Hope or someone said, "Thanks for the Memories".

This is a trip down memory lane and I am enjoying it. I had had no contact with any of my old Misawa buddies for almost 36 years until a friend found me on the Internet a few years ago. You have now given me an opportunity to connect with others. Thank you so much.

Great site. Thanks for all the work that went into this project. It sure puts a smile on my face everytime that I visit a site which is dedicated to USAFSS or ESC. We really are a unique family. Having spent so many years not being able to "talk", it makes me even more proud of what we did, now that we can "share". Thank you all...now come join the rest of us at MyFamily... it is a HOOT.

Really nice website. I remember some of the folks who have signed the guestbook. Dutch Wiest for one, and Joe B. Jones for another. I'd love to take a trip back to Misawa to see how much it's changed.

83-85: Came over for Ladylove project (who could forget that project name!) I remember Earl & Jeri Cunningham, Irv Scott, Bill "Thunder" Thornton, Edna Alger, Scot & Marion Lichty, and others. Also remember Conrad "Connie" Klein in DOMO. Had some great experiences both times - still have wall posters of Oirase river and Towado-ko. Hi to all who have served and are now serving there.

20351/20270-90. Arriving in Nov 59 worked as 203 for John Neeley in day shop. Made E-5 March 60 and transferred to Trick 3 as Asst Surv and Warning for B J Cook. Stayed on trick three for next 4and 1/2 years as Asst S&W and S&W. Ably assisted by Roy Kent and Gino Gonitzke. Excellent job/tour assignment. Dec 71-July 72 worked on trick 4 for Wally Williams as Asst S and W. Went to days for Joe Curran. Second time in Misawa not nearly as good as first time - too many politics. Glad to leave for 6903rd in Korea.

To echo previous comments - neat companion site to original My Family site. Look forward to dropping in often to see who's visiting. Am especially looking forward to post- San Antonio 2002 FTVA reunion comments. Hope to run into some of you there. Will be at EC-47 rededication ceremonies in addition to picnic and other functions involving Combat Apple 35th Anniversary reunion, Prop Wash Gang gathering, et al. Cheers!

Come on in and join the USAFSS Misawa, Japan Myfamily web site. We now number over a thousand members and with daily postings of pictures and comments we not only cherish the opportunity to re-live our time in Misawa, but we also share ideas on nearly every subject imaginable. After decades of mental decay and daily distractions of our current lives, we find that sharing memories and ideas has a profound and almost magical way of drawing long-lost memories out of those cerebral cob-webs. It is truly amazing how a single word or phrase has brought back so many, many fond memories of our days we lived through so many eons ago. The many members are also a treasure chest of knowledge and experience, so if a question is asked about something, it isn't long and the answer appears. So throw away your encyclopedias and your computer games and join us. We not only have loads of fun, we also provide support of all kinds to our members.
