Misawa organization/s (include Flight or Trick if you remember)? 6920 SG - Charlie Flight
Your AFSC in Misawa? X1
Comments: So many people to remember - Dave Moritz, Chris "Boo Boo" LeBourgeois, Jimmy Shmedemann, Danny Cousins, Rick Roe, Steve Winton, Tom Sales, Tom (?) "Bubbles" Baker, Wimpy Queesenberry, Potsy Clever, Takusan. Memories - The Gig, AP Alley, bleedin' Mid shifts, bowling after Swings, the endless practical jokes, puking in the snow, Roll Calls and that awful Akadama wine, rollin' the freq's, NQ's, paying off a bar tab w/ T-bone steaks, and so many, many more. If it wasn't raining, it was snowing. To this day, whenever I hear my name called I don't dare turn around to see who called out unless they say "seriously".

Comments: Just happened on this site, and enjoyed it. Spent about 39 months on the Hill and have lots of fond memories. Have vivid memories of the 68 earthquake, AP alley, MPC, Combat jugs of Sappora, eating fried rice at after hour places, b-battery off base, etc. etc. Remember the road to the hill and being glad I was assigned there rather than on main base with the SAC and TAC guys, because we never had to do formations, inspections!! Lost most of High Freq. hearing because of the morse code duty. Remember working Directional Finding (DF) with the Navy and Army brothers. Lots of memories like the rest of you. God Bless all veterans!!

Misawa tour/s of duty (mm/yy-mm/yy)? Sept 64 - Nov 65
Misawa organization/s (include Flight or Trick if you remember)? Trick 1
Your AFSC in Misawa? 201/DF
Comments: I joined and signed on before. Right now I would like to see if anyone can help me find out about an NCO that I worked with in DF on "the hill". His name was SSgt Robert (Bob) White. He headed up the DF dept. He was promoted to TSgt,however, lost his clearance and rank because he wanted to divorce his wife and marry this Machi girl. As a result he did not move into the new ops bldg with us, he was moved down to main base. If anyone could remember his middle initial, home town, wheither he stayed in the AF, or any other info we are trying to find him for a reunion. Any help at all will be appreciated. Thanks for any and all help. Double A
